About us

Our commitment to the safety of occupants and the protection of property, our story and our expertise.

Our purpose

Why IntegriFire exists.

The Building Safety Act 2022 changed the legal landscape for everyone responsible for higher-risk residential buildings. Accountable persons, principal accountable persons, and responsible persons face obligations that many did not previously hold, and the Building Safety Regulator is actively assessing whether those obligations are being met.

IntegriFire was founded to meet that demand. Not to offer generic fire safety services dressed up in BSA language, but to provide specialist, technically grounded support to those who are genuinely trying to get this right.

We work exclusively in the higher-risk residential building sector. That focus means everything we do is calibrated to the specific demands of the BSA regime the Safety Case framework, the BSR's assessment criteria, the golden thread requirements, and the competence standards that underpin it all.

Our expertise and values

What we do.

IntegriFire provides: Building Safety Cases and Safety Case Reports, gap analyses, fire risk assessments (Type 1 to Type 4), fire strategies, fire door inspections, and fire plan consultancy.

Every engagement is led personally by Paul Parker-Edwards. We do not subcontract work or assign it to less experienced consultants. What you commission is what you get a senior, qualified practitioner with nearly four decades of experience, applying that experience directly to your building.

Paul Parker-Edwards AIFireE MCMI MIFSM DipFD

I founded IntegriFire because the sector needed experienced, independent practitioners who understood the Building Safety Act regime from the inside not just what the legislation says, but what it demands in practice from the people who have to live with it.

I spent nearly four decades in fire services and fire safety before establishing IntegriFire, including senior operational and managerial roles. Early in my career I witnessed first-hand the consequences of fire in residential buildings. That experience shaped everything that followed a belief that prevention is always better than intervention, and that the people responsible for keeping buildings safe deserve proper technical support, not compliance theatre.

My qualifications include a Level 5 Diploma in Fire Engineering Design, the Level 4 Certificate in Building Safety Management for HRRBs, AIFireE, MCMI, and MIFSM. I maintain detailed working knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Approved Document B, BS 9991, BS 9999, BS 8214, PAS 9980, and the BSR's assessment framework.

If you are managing a higher-risk residential building and you need to know that the person advising you understands what they are talking about I am happy to have that conversation.
